ConocoPhillips uses a strategic planning process and risk management tools, to integrate evolving trends, including those related to climate change, into the company’s framework for decision making. Environmental and social performance is a key component of our long-range planning process, and we have a comprehensive governance framework for sustainable development (SD) risks and opportunities that extends from the Board of Directors’ Public Policy and Sustainability Committee, through the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), to leaders and internal subject matter experts.
